Dr. Scott Bickel (R2 PI) did a sabbatical in China for four months to improve rehabilitation there through academic and clinical teaching. He spent time in the clinic assessing patients with multiple health conditions while training rehab physicians and therapists on evaluation and treatment methods. he also spent significant time doing academic teaching of international medical students and community clinicians. All work was done in collaboration with Wuhan University and Project HOPE.
